The confirmed number of monkeypox cases in Hidalgo County has risen to six, according to the Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department.The latest update comes as the Hidalgo County health department announced it would begin providing routine, weekly updates via social media at its department Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, as well as the Hidalgo County social media pages.Each Monday, the health department will release the total number of confirmed cases locally, as well at the state and national level.
