On Sept. 30, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, TX-15, announced a grant of $5,000,000 for the Tropical Texas Behavioral Health Center by the Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).This funding will enhance and restore clinical services to address the needs of those with mental health and substance abuse issues.
