AUSTIN – Laura Hinojosa, Hidalgo County District Clerk, was one of 20 county officials who in December completed Leadership 254, the Texas Association of Counties (TAC) leadership development program designed specifically for county officials.
Leadership 254 class participants represented each county office and came from rural, suburban and urban counties across the state. This was the program’s second class. County officials had to apply to attend.
TAC provided scholarships to participants for the tuition fees for this program.
Attendees completed all required training elements, which included four training modules over the course of 2019-20 and 79 hours of classroom and experiential training exercises.
