EDINBURG — Three more people with underlying medical conditions, all residents of Pharr, died Monday from COVID-19 complications, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said. There are now 15 people who have died because of this destructive COVID-19 virus since they tested positive in Hidalgo County. All three cases were unrelated. The youngest was a woman in her 40s. The two other women were in their 80s.
