EDINBURG – The Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District announced on Monday that approximately 4,300 of the District’s teachers and staff had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
“I am pleased to announce that all Edinburg CISD employees who wanted to get vaccinated have received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine,” said ECISD Superintendent Dr. Mario Salinas. “Of our 5,000 employees, over 4,300 wanted a vaccine. This means that 100% of our staff that is back on campus working that wants a vaccine is vaccinated.”
