Edinburg police officers were called to the 2600 block of South Business 281 in reference to an accident involving a motor vehicle and an electric bicycle Tuesday around 6 a.m.When officers arrived, they saw a 42-year-old man lying on the roadway and a 2017 gray Ford Explorer with damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle.Officers learned the man was riding an electric bicycle heading southbound on the shoulder along Business 281 when he was struck by the driver of the Ford Explorer.
