Early Tuesday morning at approximately 4:30 a.m., Edinburg police officers responded to a call for a major crash in the 16000 block of North Expressway 281. Officers arrived on the scene and discovered that five vehicles had collided as a result of a wrong-way driver. Detectives learned a 29-year-old man driving a Chevy Trailblazer was traveling south in the northbound lanes of Expressway 281. The wrong-way driver then struck a Dodge pick-up truck head on.
