EDINBURG – Two roads adjacent to construction of the Hidalgo County courthouse in downtown Edinburg will temporarily close to accommodate construction. The parts of Cano and 12th streets that are immediately adjacent to the courthouse construction will close at 4 a.m. on Monday, February 8 and are scheduled to stay closed until Thursday, February 11, construction officials said. The closure will tie in the storm system for the new Hidalgo County Courthouse into the recently improved city storm water system.
