At about 3:42 a.m., Sept 17, Pharr Police responded to the area of 1900 N I 69 (northbound lanes) in Pharr, in reference to a one-vehicle fatality accident. Preliminary investigation is ongoing. A passenger vehicle was traveling north at about the 1900 block of I 69 with two occupants. Driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Passenger succumbed to injuries at scene.
