PHARR — The United Way Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is now offering free tax income tax preparation assistance services in three locations at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA) to families earning less than $60,000 a year. This assistance will continue until April 11, 2020. Sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the VITA program offers free assistance to people with a household income of $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers.
