Governor appoints Jaime Tijerina to preside over new state District Court

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Jaime Tijerina to the 464th state Judicial District Court for a term set to expire on Dec. 31, 2020, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified, according to a press release sent out by the governor’s office Monday.
