The Hidalgo County Criminal District Attorney’s Office is joining national prevention efforts to raise awareness for sexual assault and child abuse crimes by hosting several events during the month of April to commemorate Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Child Abuse Prevention Month, and National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. “We are dedicated to strengthening victims and survivors in the aftermath of crime, building resilience in our communities and our victim responders, and working for justice for all victims and survivors,” said Criminal District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez, Jr. “We encourage everyone to join the national awareness efforts to prevent child abuse and sexual assault.
