Hidalgo County Tax offices expands health and safety measures

EDINBURG – With the number of COVID-19 cases rising throughout the county, Hidalgo County Tax Assessor-Collector Pablo “Paul” Villarreal Jr., PCC is prioritizing the health and safety of taxpayers and employees by expanding protective measures taken by all tax offices. “Our offices have made an incredible effort to practice social distancing and monitoring throughout our eight offices,” said Villarreal. “I will extend the monitoring phase to our visiting customers.” Effective Monday June 15, customers will have their temperature screened upon entering any county tax office.
