At first I thought so-called Constitutional Gun Carry wasn’t a great idea for Texans. After giving it some thought, though, witnessing the rise in indiscriminate shootings by crazy people, I decided it’s a law that should be on the books. The idea now being, law-abiding U.S. citizens 21 or over who are not prohibited by state or federal law from carrying a handgun may now do so beginning Sept. 1.
