LINN-SAN MANUEL – After years of anticipation, the small rural community of Linn-San Manuel located in northeastern Hidalgo County (22300 FM 1017, Linn, TX 78542) will now have a county park. Hidalgo County Precinct 4 Commissioner Ellie Torres in partnership with the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District (ECISD) announces that the construction of the Linn-San Manuel Veterans Park is complete for a full park opening. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting was held Thursday, Aug. 19 to commemorate the official opening of the park.
