May 2 elections will be postponed due to Declaration of Local Disaster

The Hidalgo County Elections Department will not be conducting a May 2, 2020 election for any political subdivision, said Hidalgo County Elections Administrator Yvonne Ramon. This is in accordance with Governor Gregg Abbott’s disaster declaration coupled with a Declaration of Local Disaster Due to Public Health Emergency made by Hidalgo County Judge Richard F.
