McALLEN — The Texas State Library and Archives Commission recently awarded $35,127 to McAllen Public Library under its Texas Supports Libraries Grant Program. On May 31, McAllen Public Library will launch its new initiative, Job Fair in a Bag, which includes a laptop, a hotspot, and workforce development resources for a 30-day checkout period to any McAllen Library cardholder whose patron account is current and in good standing.“Today’s job seekers need access to information and technology to be successful.
