McALLEN — In an abundance of caution and to avoid any community spread of COVID-19, the City of McAllen has decided to postpone its live fireworks presentation for the 4th of July. The firework display will be rescheduled to a later date. McAllen city officials encourage all residents to continue to celebrate their liberty and freedoms, but to do so safely for their protection, as well as the protection of every resident in McAllen.
