A Mercedes man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a Hidalgo County jury found him guilty of capital murder.Ramiro Garcia Lopez, 51, was found guilty of Capital Murder by Terror/Threat on Nov. 9, 2022. The jury was selected on Oct. 31 and the trial was held from Nov. 1 through Nov. 8.
