Special to the Advance CORPUS CHRISTI — A 45-year-old Houston woman has been ordered to federal prison for possessing and distributing numerous illegal drugs between Houston and Rockport, announced U.S. Attorney Nicholas J. Ganjei.Cheri Ann Palmer pleaded guilty Sept. 26, 2024.U.S. District Judge David Morales has now ordered her to serve 240 months for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in addition to 60 months for possession of 0'-5' a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime.
