PALMVIEW - In an effort to improve safety conditions and reduce nuisances on city roads and in residential neighborhoods, the City of Palmview is launching an awareness campaign to inform the community of city ordinances in place regarding the parking, standing, or stopping of tractor-trailers, 18-wheelers, semi-trailers, recreational vehicles, and the like. Ordinance 70.44 deems unlawful the parking of any truck weighing 10,000 lbs or more on any public street, alley, parkway, boulevard, or public place which abuts any residential-zoned property.
