PSJA ISD students engage in projectbased learning activities from home

PHARR - Students in Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD are continuing to engage in project-based learning from home through mycology kits that allow them to grow and sell gourmet mushrooms to local restaurants. According to Buell Central DAEP Principal Mario Bracamontes these are part of the campus efforts to continue to engage and inspire students during distance learning. A total of 15 mycology kits were donated by South Texas Mushrooms, a local farm owned by PSJA Buell Engineering Teacher Alvaro Gurrola.
