LA JOYA — Congressman Henry Cuellar held a press conference on Thursday, October 29 at 1:00 pm to deliver two grants, totaling $549,948, that will greatly benefit the residents of the Rio Grande Valley. Specifically, Congressman Cuellar announced $499,948 in federal funds to the University of Rio Grande Valley and their work to establish and expand services for victims and survivors of sexual assault.
