EDINBURG – Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station (RGC) agents interdicted two marijuana smuggling attempts totaling more than 900 pounds and valued at over $731K. Agents assigned to the RGC observed several subjects loading large bundles of suspected narcotics into a Chevrolet Trailblazer near the Rio Grande in La Casita, Texas. As agents responded to the area, they located the vehicle abandoned at a nearby residence. Agents discovered bundles still inside the vehicle.
