EDINBURG — Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended 24 migrants that used a train to travel further into the United States.On Oct. 8, at approximately 2 p.m., a 911 call was relayed to the Corpus Christi Border Patrol Station stating there were ten suspected migrants walking near the train tracks west of Robstown, Texas.In coordination with the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) and Robstown Police Department, 22 migrants were apprehended.A bag containing bolt cutters was found in their possession which was suspected of being used to gain access to train cars.As law enforcement authorities awaited transport for the ...
