EDINBURG – U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector stopped two separate alien smuggling attempts resulting in the arrest of 15 illegal aliens. McAllen agents working near Mission, Texas, responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle leaving the Rio Grande at a high rate of speed. As mobile units responded, the driver of the vehicle returned to the river and all of the occupants fled on foot. Agents searched the area, arresting the driver and 11 illegal aliens.
