RIO GRANDE CITY – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Starr Camargo International Bridge intercepted a load of alleged methamphetamine. CBP officers discovered the narcotics, valued at approximately $463,000, hidden within a 2007 Ford Fusion.
“In the midst of this pandemic our officers have remained steadfast to securing our nation’s borders and through their commitment these dangerous drugs will never reach our communities,” said Port Director Imelda Recio, Rio Grande City Port of Entry.
