EDINBURG – Border Patrol agents seize more than 48 lbs. of liquid methamphetamine in a failed smuggling attempt at the Falfurrias checkpoint. The drugs seized are valued at $1.5M.
Agents assigned to Border Patrol’s Falfurrias checkpoint referred a Hyundai sedan for further investigation following a K-9 alert during the immigration inspection. During a search of the vehicle, agents discovered the liquid methamphetamine. The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
