The City of McAllen is currently working on storm sewer improvements along Dove Avenue between N. 6th Street and N. “C” Street, as part of the 2018 Bond Election Drainage Improvement Projects. Due to the related construction, North 2nd Street at Dove Avenue will be closed to all through traffic between Violet and Dove Avenue beginning Tuesday, December 29, through Thursday, December 31, 2020.
