Special to the Advance McALLEN — A 31-yearold San Juan resident is set to appear in federal court on charges of firearms and drug trafficking, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.Jessica Alvarado appeared on the charges in the indictment at Friday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nadia S.
