EDINBURG — In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Edinburg has developed the Stimulus Program Aimed at Recovery from COVID (S.P.A.R.C.) Program. This program provides Edinburg businesses and residents financial stimulus by injecting $2.5 million directly into the Edinburg economy.
Funded by the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), these funds were dedicated to local governments in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Recognizing that many businesses and residents have suffered financial hardship due to the pandemic, the City Council unanimously approved $2.5 million to help support the recovery efforts of the local economy.
