McALLEN – Following the retirement of Jesus “Chuy” Ramirez as South Texas College’s general legal counsel, after approximately 20 years of service, the Board of Trustees for South Texas College conducted a public solicitation for legal services in early 2021. After a review of qualifications submitted by responding firms, the Board authorized the engagement of the Law Office of Javier Villalobos, P.C., on May 17, 2021, pending an interview and successful contract negotiations with Villalobos.
