No matter how you feel about the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling on abortion — nay or yay — striking it down at the federal level, which will allow an expected 26 states to ban it outright, including the Lone Star State, it’s interesting to note that Texas will still allow an abortion to save the mother’s life, but won’t allow an abortion for a woman who is either a victim of rape or incest.Meaning, a rapist may be in prison, but still be a new dad.The Texas law was written overwhelmingly by men, even though it’s aimed at women.
