The Bible tells us that humans, like the world, are a creation of God. But what kind of god would create a world in which most humans are afraid most of the time? American humans, especially, live in fear of disease, natural disasters, war, the government, a stock market plunge, a toilet paper shortage, crime, police, other ethnicities and cultures, death, public speaking, alien abduction, snakes, spiders, and getting caught.
