Thirty-one PSJA ISD parents earn GED amidst pandemic

PHARR - Despite the current pandemic, 31 Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) parents continued learning virtually and fulfilled their dream of earning a GED. These parents continued taking virtual classes through the PSJA Parental Engagement Program in partnership with South Texas College and Region One throughout the summer. PSJA Parent Dayana Avila expressed gratitude for the support from teachers and the district to help her continue learning. "I wanted to continue my studies to be an example for my daughter as she grows up," said Avila. "This will also help us improve our way of life." The following parents earned their GED: 1.
