EDINBURG – McAllen Border Patrol agents arrest two sex offenders with extensive criminal history.
McAllen agents working near Hidalgo, Texas, arrested a Mexican national whose record checks revealed a prior arrest in McAllen, Texas. The McAllen Police Department arrested the man, Santiago Alvarez Gonzalez, for a “Sex offense –Against child-Fondling.” Additionally, records checks revealed Alvarez has significant criminal history to include marijuana and cocaine possession.
