Two Child Predators Arrested at the Border in the Rio Grande Valley

EDINBURG — Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents arrested two illegal aliens with previous convictions for sexual assault. Brownsville agents arrested a Honduran national whose record checks revealed a previous arrest in Tennessee by the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO). SCSO charged the man, later identified as Juan Carlos Cornejo-Aleman, with aggravated statutory rape. The man received as sentence of four years confinement for the crime.
