EDINBURG – The Advance News Journal broke the story in April – Edinburg’s new city manager, Juan Guerra, would take a job with DHR Health (Doctors Hospital at Renaissance). Time to retract the story – he’s not leaving Edinburg after all. Question is why? He was making, at the time, $225,000 per year as Edinburg’s CM, and DHR was offering him a lot more money to come work for it in an executive management capacity working alongside its CEO.
