Hidalgo County’s law enforcement to receive $146,058 in federal funding

MISSION — Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX- 28) announced $146,058 in federal funding for Hidalgo County’s law enforcement efforts to combat the outbreak of COVID-19. This funding, awarded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act’s Byrne Justice Assistance Grants (JAG), will help purchase personal protective equipment, medical supplies, and overtime.
