EDINBURG –Hidalgo County Tax Offices have made operational changes due to COVID-19. All county tax offices will rotate availability bi-weekly. Operating hours will be Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

EDINBURG – Edinburg police officers responded to a Stripes convenience store located at 802 West University Dr., Edinburg, in reference to an aggravated robbery on Friday, March 20, at approximately 9:47 p.m. The suspect is seen demanding money while wielding a kitchen knife at the store clerk. The suspect was seen fleeing in a dark-colored, four-door passenger vehicle.
