Former county DA, ‘Ricky Rod,’ now Pharr’s deputy city attorney
By Gregg Wendorf Advance News Journal PHARR — At the Pharr City Commission meeting Monday, former two-term Hidalgo County District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez was named the city’s new deputy city attorney and prosecutor. For his work, he will reportedly be paid a monthly stipend of $5,000, which equates to $60,000 per year.
