Hello! I’m Cayden! Ever had your heart melted before? If not, I’m sure to do it! I’m the cutest boy and have so much love to give! I’m friendly and sweet with people and have also been in a home environment before, so adjusting to yours won’t be a problem! I get along with other dogs too, although I do better with females than with males. I can sit for treats and have the perfect amount of energy. I would be a great companion for almost anyone, given the chance! If you think you could be my new forever family, stop by to see me at Andrews Location today!

What is the Church to a Non-Christian?

I have a question for every person reading this, churched or unchurched, atheist or believer: What obligation does the Christian Church have to the world at large? Let’s even narrow it down to a few specific areas. For instance, is the Christian pastor, minister, or priest commanded by God to marry any couple upon request? What about a funeral and/or burial? Does God expect the Church to use its treasury funds, fed by the “tithes and offerings” of its members, to help non-Christians? Well, it seems to me the answer(s) depend upon who you ask. Many non-Christians living in a sinful world have expectations of an institution they can’t fully understand; the same could be said for a good number of Christians who try to live up to divine expectations they may not fully understand. The purpose for the Christian Church—the community of believers in and followers of Jesus Christ—as recorded by the Gospel author Luke in the Book of Acts (Acts 2:42) is clear: “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Scripture teaches that the Church is to provide for its own, the needy saints (Acts 2:44-45). The mission of the Church, as the gathered body of believers, is to “make disciples of all nations” (see Matthew 28:19-20) by bearing witness to Jesus Christ. In other words, the obligation of the Church is to reach the lost with the Gospel, not to support the needs of non-believers...
