The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District celebrated the Hour of Code during Computer Science Education Week, held from Dec. 4-10.
In preparation for graduation, the Region One Education Service Center GEAR UP Program connected students with disabilities and their families with resources, organization and information during an all-day college, career and life readiness transition fair held Dec. 5 at the Radisson Hotel in McAllen.
The City of Pharr has named Dr. Jonathan B. Flores, Ed.D., as its City Manager. Flores has been serving as the Interim City Manager since earlier this year.
