Region One Accountability ratings outperform most of state

Special to the Advance EDINBURG — The Region One Education Service Center (ESC) recently congratulated the school systems it serves for outperforming their state peers in the 2021-2022 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings. Plaques commemorating this success were presented to Superintendents on Aug. 18 after the annual Public Hearing Report was presented, which highlighted this work.

Preliminary Schools FIRST Ratings show admirable financial practices

Special to the Advance EDINBURG — The Region One Education Service Center (ESC) recently presented the 2021-2022 Preliminary School FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) ratings during a Public Hearing held Aug. 18 at its Edinburg main office. The preliminary data shows most of the school systems in the Region receiving an “A” or Superior Achievement after earning between 90-100 points during the assessment.
