I got an email from a friend of mine the other day recounting his new-found propensity for Sunday afternoon naps as he approaches the Big 6-0. As part of his email, he wrote: “Enjoy the weekend. The red-winged blackbirds have once again invaded my backyard, and I get a kick out of listening from my bedroom as they “trill me” to Nod-Land on Sunday afternoon. Yeah, life’s too short to spend too much weekend at the office. Sixty’s only 11 months away.”

This week Cinderella Pet Rescue is happy to introduce Soci and Dreamsicle. A little over two years old, Soci, a well-behaved and sociable Beagle/Terrier cross, is a real sweetheart. Her spicy cinnamon coat is highlighted with a vanilla face, chest, socks and tail tip. At forty pounds, she’s a good sized companion, ready to join you on any adventure you care to propose. She enjoys the company of people of all ages, but is looking forward to finding that special person or family that she can call her very own. If you’re looking for a dog that is gentle, friendly, and a lot of fun, pretty Ms. Soci could be your girl.
