The Pharr EDC is proud to foster collaborative partnerships that help further educational and workforce advancement opportunities for students and working adults alike. One such partnerships is the Valley Initiative for Development and Advancement (VIDA), a community-based, nonprofit 501 (c) (3) agency dedicated to empowering the underserved residents of our region with the tools, education, and training needed to become self-sufficient while fueling the growth of existing employers and increasing recruitment of new investment to the area by developing a highly skilled workforce.
