Court activities to be suspended to complete move into new courthouse
Special to the Advance EDINBURG — Judicial proceedings and other courthouse activity will be suspended to the public for one week — which bega Monday to accommodate the transition into the new courthouse. This means that both the old and the new courthouse will be closed to any public access. Judicial filings will continue to be accepted electronically by both the county and district clerk’s offices, but the public will not have physical access to either office. This suspension of activity, which is scheduled to last through Friday, March 28, will allow movers and courthouse personnel to finalize the process of moving from the old courthouse into the new facility.
