Commemorated globally every March 17, St. Patrick’s Day is a religious and cultural holiday that celebrates the life and legacy of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
A Speechcraft public speaking course will be offered on four consecutive Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon beginning Feb. 1 at the Pharr Memorial Library (121 E Cherokee Ave., 2nd Floor). The Speechcraft is sponsored by Hub City and Allen McAllen Toastmasters Clubs.
HUB City Toastmasters meets each Wednesday at the Pharr Memorial Library, 121 E. Cherokee, second floor, from noon until 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome.
