EDINBURG — Marking the one year anniversary of being designated as the region’s first Joint Commission Certified Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center, DHR Health remains proud to offer patients in the Rio Grande Valley the highest level of specialized care. DHR Health is the first hospital south of San Antonio to achieve this certification and has also received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Advanced Certification for Comprehensive Stroke Centers.

President Trump, Tell U.S. Residents to Stay Home

There is no doubt that the best thing all American's can do right now to help contain the spread of COVID-19 is to stay at home and practice social distancing. In Texas, I support the leadership of our local officials, who in coordination with their public health experts, have led the efforts in our community to implement shelter in place orders. We must all continue working together to flatten the curve and get this health crisis behind us so that we can safely get Texans back to work and have the Texas economy thrive once again.
