The novel coronavirus, which causes the Covid-19 respiratory disease, now making the news isn’t a hurricane, or a blizzard, so there’s no reason to hoard water or food in the Rio Grande Valley. The water faucet will still run if a case here surfaces. Still, too many people are doing it, hoarding store items, which interferes with our lives in general. Mothers who need distilled water for their babies can’t get it, etc.
Thankfully, the virus hasn’t yet struck the Rio Grande Valley. Will it? My guess would be yes, but I’m not the greatest prognosticator. If someone here does prove ...
